The company has co-authored the publication of industry performance standards for plastic chairs designed for outdoor use by the American Society for Testing Materials (ASTM) and all Grosfillex furniture meet or exceed industry standards when it comes to safety. 

What makes Grosfillex resin different from other plastic furniture?

Grosfillex furniture is made of polypropylene resin that gives the outdoor furniture its resistance to most food stains, moisture, salt air, and chlorine. The calcium carbonate or talc provides rigidity and the resin composite was carefully formulated to pass rigorous test standards.

Is Grosfillex outdoor furniture made in the USA?

Yes, it is all made in the USA in Robesonia, Pennsylvania.   

Will Grossfillex furniture fade or discolor in the sun?

The most advanced ultra-violet light stabilizers Grosfillex uses make their outdoor furniture resist fading or discoloration by the sun; they’ll last twice as long as retail grade plastic furniture.  

How do you clean Grosfillex commercial resin furniture?

Grosfillex cannot guarantee results for any specific cleaning method or product, but a mild detergent like dish soap and water can be used to clean the furniture. Persistent stains can be removed with a 10% solution of either vinegar or bleach. The metal parts on chairs and other furniture can be cleaned by soaking them in pool water and wiping them clean. Household cleaners that are non-abrasive, along with mineral spirits, rubbing alcohol, or acetone will work with sticky or black stains. Other stains like bird droppings, sap, and imbedded dirt can be cleaned with resin furniture cleaners like SunBrite. 

How much wind can the Grosfillex Windmaster Umbrellas withstand?

The power of wind cannot be completely replicated in wind tunnel testing, but in general they can withstand 35-40 MPH winds. Ensuring the umbrella is properly secured to a quality base is very important.
