Yale Schwarzman Center, New Haven, CT

Kittredge was a proud participant in the 2019-2021 renovation of the original Yale Commons which first opened to the public in October 1901. The new name for this historic building is the Yale Schwarzman Center in thanks to the 150 Million dollar donation by Blackstone founder and Yale Alumni Stephen A. Schwarzman. His vision was to create a world class state-of-the-art campus center.
The foodservice equipment was installed in these new spaces and venues. The commons building was expanded out onto Grove Street for this new tray drop-off dishroom and kitchen/serving line area, underground basement complete coffee bar with beverage merchandisers, The Well basement bar for students of age and faculty, and the Bow Wow basement C-Store. In addition to the above areas, Kittredge provided a complete basement kitchen, bar area kitchen, and pantries on the 2nd and 3rd floors.
