The Mission: Transforming a Historic Building into a Craft Brewery and Kitchen

Wesley and Taylor, a husband and wife team, saw the potential in a historic brick building in downtown Proctorsville, Vermont. They envisioned turning the two-story space into Outer Limits Brewing, complete with a working kitchen, inviting dining room, and brewery centered around the rare Peter Austin Brick Kettle system, of which fewer than 200 exist worldwide. Singer Equipment partnered with them to bring the concept to life, adjusting the kitchen and equipment layout to fit the unique space and supplying everything from bar equipment to a pizza oven and smallwares.

Challenges: Customizing a Historic Space for Food and Beer Service

The original consultant drawings required on-site revisions to match the building’s structural conditions. The team needed a flexible and efficient kitchen to support a taproom menu, including a wood-fired pizza program, and equipment that fit the look and feel of the historic setting.

Solution: Tailored Equipment & Layout for a Brewpub Environment

Singer Equipment reworked the plans and provided a full suite of restaurant and brewery kitchen equipment to support the concept:

Woodstone pizza oven for the centerpiece menu item
Dishroom equipment including dishmachine and dish table package
Bar equipment to support taproom service and beverage prep
Smallwares, tables, and chairs to complete the dining area
