The Mission: Building a Cohesive Dual-Concept Dining Experience

Located in the heart of downtown St. Johnsbury, Kingdom Taproom & Table introduced two unique hospitality concepts under one roof. With craft food and drink as the foundation, the team set out to design a welcoming upstairs dining room with global influences, paired with a lively downstairs taproom focused on approachable fare and a strong beverage program. Singer Equipment partnered with Kingdom Taproom & Table to deliver a full restaurant design-build solution, combining kitchen, bar, tabletop, and furniture layout into one cohesive, high-functioning project.

Challenges: Delivering Efficiency Across Two Service Environments

The project involved designing a full commercial kitchen in the lower level, while ensuring seamless food delivery and operational flow to the upstairs dining room. The goal was to provide flexible functionality for both casual and refined service formats within a unified brand identity.

Solution: Integrated Kitchen, Bar & Dining Design for a Multi-Level Concept

Singer Equipment provided commercial kitchen equipment and supply for both the back-of-house and front-of-house, including:

A downstairs kitchen installation featuring hoods, refrigeration, and prep space.
Bar equipment supporting both elevated cocktails and casual beverage service.
Curated tabletop including dinnerware, glassware, and utensils that reflect the restaurant’s globally inspired menu.
Custom furniture layout with booths and large-format tables to support both intimate dining and group seating.
