The Mission: Outfitting a Premier Food Hall Experience

Located in Houston’s historic JP Morgan Chase building, Finn Hall food hall design-build set out to become a gold standard in food hall innovation. Designed to accommodate ten unique restaurant concepts under one roof, the goal was to craft a cohesive yet flexible commercial kitchen layout that could support varied culinary needs without compromising efficiency or guest experience. Singer’s restaurant supply experts partnered with Resolute Hospitality and designer Andy Simpson to deliver a streamlined, high-performance foodservice environment.

Singer Equipment collaborated closely with the project stakeholders to ensure the functionality and performance of every foodservice zone across the multi-tenant hall.

Challenges: Supporting Culinary Variety with Unified Functionality

Designing and supplying a food hall presents a unique challenge—each vendor operates independently, with distinct menu offerings and workflows. The project demanded a careful balance of individual functionality and overarching consistency to ensure operational harmony across all kitchens.

Solution: Unified Equipment, Tailored for Diverse Concepts

Singer Equipment worked closely with the operator and design team to select versatile, durable equipment that could support high-volume service while complementing the identity of each restaurant.

  • Refrigeration & Merchandising: Arctic walk-in coolers, Hoshizaki reach-ins, and Federal Industries display cases provided clean, consistent merchandising.
  • Specialty Cooking Equipment: Pitco fryers for LIT Chicken, Ovention conveyor ovens for Pizza Zquare, and Southbend ranges across multiple vendors.
  • Centerpiece Feature: A polished 28-tap beer system from Perlick serves as the heart of the beverage program, creating a visual and operational focal point.
